Biography

Jordan Peck is a 24-year-old Mi’kmaq
singer-songwriter from Bear River First Nation
(L’sit’kuk), Nova Scotia. Born and raised in his
community, Jordan has been surrounded by
music for as long as he can remember—
never far from a guitar and always searching
for new ways to express himself through
song.
Drawing inspiration from a lifelong connection
to music, Jordan found his voice in punk rock.
Each downstroke on the strings carries both
freedom and release, shaping lyrics that
speak to real struggles and raw emotions. His
songs are deeply personal yet universally
relatable, offering listeners a reminder that
they are never alone in their experiences.
Jordan’s music balances honesty and
intensity with heart and vulnerability.

The beginning - 2020

Jordan Peck Music began in 2020 with a simple goal: to turn real-life experiences into honest music. What started as writing songs during a difficult chapter quickly became a creative outlet and the foundation for everything that followed. Those early recordings laid the groundwork for the artist, the sound, and the community that continues to grow today.

Wasteland

Released in 2020, Wasteland was Jordan Peck’s first major project—a raw, honest collection of songs born from struggle, growth, and self-discovery. It laid the foundation for the sound, story, and artistic identity that continues to evolve today.

False Hope

Released in 2021, False Hope explores the weight of depression and anxiety through a deeply personal lens. The song reflects the frustration of searching for answers, losing faith in the systems meant to help, and feeling trapped when medications seem to make things worse instead of better. It captures the emptiness of believing there may be no way out, giving a voice to the hopelessness that so many silently carry.

Now & again

Released in 2021, Now and Again is one of Jordan Peck’s most personal songs. Written during a time when he was struggling with alcoholism, it came from the anger, guilt, and resentment he felt toward himself for the choices he was making and the danger his drinking was putting others in. It’s an honest reflection of addiction, accountability, and the desire to become a better person.

Clover

Released in 2021, Clover was built around one unforgettable weekend. My best friend, brother, and bandmate, Sam Fetter, came home from school, and we spent two days writing and recording “Clover” and “Sinking” in my basement. After hearing the finished songs late Saturday night, we knew we’d made something special. At 4 a.m. Sunday morning, we gave each other matching four-leaf clover tattoos to remember the moment. Sam later recorded the vocals for “Butterflies” on his iPhone and sent them to me, I finished producing the EP, added my solo track “Suicioty,” and we released Clover the following week. It all happened so fast, but it’s still one of the most meaningful projects we’ve ever made.
